Bethany Center is unique when it comes to the depth and quantity of communication flowing to and from staff and residents.

We offer a monthly community forum, in the style of a town hall meeting, where residents express their feedback, needs and concerns in an open discussion. These meetings are lively and well-attended. Community forums are conducted with simultaneous translation into Cantonese, Spanish and Russian, with the ATT Language Line service for speakers of other languages. The meetings provide an opportunity for every resident to learn the latest news and for Bethany Center staff to hear from every resident, in the same place, at the same time.

Touchtown, a sleek electronic bulletin board located in the lobby, is updated daily. Residents view Touchtown each morning to be reminded of all kinds of events—special programs in the building, fitness activities, building maintenance updates, city-wide events, and the very useful daily weather report.

Bethany Center News, a biannual print publication, tells residents, supporters, and the greater community about the latest news and upcoming events. It also relates our current organizational planning, highlights our community partnerships, and relates the story of at least one individual who has been important to Bethany Center.
