Our residents are individuals with diverse and unique interests. We work to schedule their favorite activities and test new ones throughout the year, creating a rich menu of programs. Activities are posted in our newsletter, Bethany Center News, and updated weekly on “Touchtown”.

We celebrate multicultural holidays with parties, music, barbeques, and luncheons. Residents are invited to learn about different faith and spiritual practices, the historical context behind different holidays and the food and meals that are integral to each tradition. The following list is a sample of the regularly scheduled and special events in which residents may choose to participate:

° Volunteer Appreciation Day
° Chinese New Year
° Karaoke Club
° Weekly food and nutrition program
° Monthly Resident Community Forum
° Caribbean Dance
° Independence Day Barbeque
° Telling Your Story (oral history project through Story Corps)
° Friends and Family Day
° Wii Video Games
° Halloween Costume Party
° Jade Club
° Holiday Sing-Along
° Classical music concerts
° Group excursions and field trips, with van transportation provided
